Majesty Media caters to individuals and entities operating in the arts, culture and entertainment sectors. We specialize in professionally produced articles, photography and programming for radio, TV, mobile and online publications. As publicists we provide strategically planned and effectively executed media campaigns and representation for artists and event organizers. Majesty Media is a partnership between Lloyd Stanbury and Sista Irie.
Lloyd Stanbury
Lloyd Stanbury is a Jamaican music industry professional with a wide range of international experience in entertainment law, artist management, music production, event promotion, research, creative industries policy, and lecturing. He started his journey in 1983 as a concert promoter in Jamaica, and was instrumental in the establishment of the world’s first all reggae radio station IRIE FM in 1990. He has organized many music events, including the Caribbean Music Expo (1999 to 2004). He is the author of the book Reggae Roadblocks, A Music Business Development Perspective.
Sista Irie
Sista Irie is an internationally recognized radio host and producer, photojournalist and Broadcast Executive. She has been covering the history of reggae music since the mid-eighties, and launched “The Conscious Party” on KAZI FM in 1988. The ‘Conscious Party’ offers an inside view of Jamaican music and culture and is enhanced by thought provoking interviews with reggae’s most distinguished artists. Sista Irie has also been a guest DJ on Radio Rototom. Her show is acclaimed as a critical information source about Jamaican culture and music education.
